4 PART HISTORY

A new quadrophonic string quartet and music concrete quadrophonic sound installation inspired by opulance and symmetry of the glorious foyer of Winthrop Hall, commissioned by The University of WA and Perth International Arts Festival

To commemorate The University of Western Australia's centenary, seven artists were commissioned to create immersive real and virtual environments across the campus – incorporating sound, sculpture, installation and performance.

In Dialogues with Landscape, visitors journeyed around familiar sites as landscapes, histories and the present were reinvigorated through dynamic contemporary arts practices. Dialogues with Landscape offered creative works to watch, meander through, activate and enjoy.

The program, presented by PIAF and the UWA Cultural Precinct, ran from 15 February to 7 March, 2011.
